Terms of service.

Welcome to The Garden Games Club. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

1. Booking & Availability

  • All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once your deposit has been received.

  • We recommend booking at least three months in advance, especially if your venue requires coordination.

  • You must be 18 or over to make a booking.

2. Payment & Deposits

  • A £100 deposit is required to secure your booking. This also serves as a damages deposit. £50 of this is allocated for damages and will be fully returned after collection, provided no repair or replacement costs are required.

  • The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event date.

  • Payment can be made via bank transfer or other methods agreed upon at the time of booking.

  • If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

3. Delivery, Setup & Collection

  • Delivery, setup, and collection are included in the package price for events within a 30-mile radius of Temple Ewell, Dover.

  • Events beyond this radius will incur a small travel fee, which will be discussed and agreed upon before booking.

  • We will coordinate with you or your venue to arrange suitable times for setup and collection.

4. Equipment Care & Damages

  • All equipment is checked and cleaned before each hire.

  • You are responsible for the equipment during the hire period.

  • If any items are lost, damaged, or returned in poor condition, we may deduct costs from your damages deposit. In cases where costs exceed the deposit, we will invoice the difference.

  • Normal wear and tear is expected, but deliberate or negligent damage may result in additional charges.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will receive a full refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will result in loss of deposit.

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

6. Weather & Outdoor Use

  • Our games are designed for outdoor use, but we recommend avoiding use in heavy rain or extreme conditions.

  • You are responsible for ensuring the games are stored safely and protected from damage during your hire period.

7. Liability

  • The Garden Games Club is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by misuse of equipment.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure games are used safely and appropriately, especially around children.

  • We hold public liability insurance and can provide documentation upon request.

8. Privacy & Data

  • We respect your privacy and comply with UK GDPR regulations.

  • Any personal information you provide will be used solely for booking and communication purposes.

9. Customisation & Special Requests
